About the design: Part of recent “Coney Island For Everyone,” this is one of five murals painted in Coney Island in an effort to beautify and support the Coney Island community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. A ode to the Stillwell Ave, where the subway hits the ocean.

About the design: Part of recent “People’s Playground Mural Project,” this is one of five murals painted in Coney Island in an effort to beautify and support the Coney Island community in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Design includes a central abstract globe, two figures, and the Coney icons Wonder Wheel and Cyclone. Design captures shared, choppy, global experience of the pandemic and Coney Island.

About the design: Rooster shouts "wake up!" to the youth entering the school building each morning, located near one of several entrances. Mural is exterior and viewable from the sidewalk, inspiring adult pedestrians to "wake up" and be more aware.
